The main challenge with permissions screens is that they have the highest user drop rate since users face their biggest trust difficulties and are obligated to put in the most effort.
All internal and external evaluations and simulations demonstrate that if users successfully navigate the next three permission screens, they are up to 75% more likely to complete the onboarding process and will feel more obligated to try the app.
In the following screens I will present my methodology and thought process for each permission screen. I'll address users' psychological barriers and demonstrate how to minimize their dilemma, lead them to complete the onboarding process while keeping them enthusiastic and engaged.​​​​​​​
